Forest Jumpsuit by MoodFabrics
Puffy sleeves, Angular Pockets and a tie waist all in a Jumpsuit. You just could not ask for better. I chose to make mine longer than the pattern states, so instead of the 3/4 length I made mine full length.
I also made mine out of a Khaki cotton I got on sale a Spotlight for $6.00 a metre! I was chuffed! The Khaki colour was a perfect choice as I was making it for a dance, where the these is 30s, 40s, or 50s Military. The dance is called the Hangar Dance as you guessed its in a hangar complete with planes.
The pattern is a print at home pattern from the wonderful Mood Fabrics, who I recommend for their Print at Home Patterns and Materials they sell.

The Model and Me
My outfit is roomier than the Model's version, to be honest I have no idea how she would have got into that outfit (see above photo). I think I look just as good as the model. My pants have more room and frankly I think are super comfy. I have decided I love Jumpsuits and will have to make more....MORE I tell you!!! Though I am seriously thinking of doing a CopyCat Mary Tyler-Moore outfit, though its just in the musing stage at the moment.
